Scope of the Role
This is a standalone Paralegal role responsible for supporting legal operations across corporate, regulatory, and administrative matters. The role requires strong bilingual capability and the ability to work independently, ensuring accurate document handling, regulatory compliance support, and effective coordination with internal departments and external entities.
Key responsibilities
- Draft and format standard legal documents including contracts, resolutions, NDAs, and powers of attorney.
- Maintain organised legal records, registers, and trackers to ensure audit-ready documentation.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of licensing, corporate filings, and regulatory documentation across UAE, Oman and KSA.
- Liaise with external stakeholders such as legal consultants, government authorities, and translators for document notarisation, attestation, and filing.
- Conduct legal research and prepare summaries on legislative changes relevant to business operations.
- Support internal teams with contract execution processes, template use, and filing.
- Coordinate the collation of documents for due diligence, audits, or external counsel review.
- Monitor key contract dates, renewal timelines, and compliance obligations.
- Additional Responsibilities:Perform other duties as directed by the line manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent legal qualification.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in a paralegal or legal support function, within GCC, preferably in UAE.
- Demonstrated understanding of corporate, commercial, and regulatory legal frameworks in the GCC region; KSA exposure is a must.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written) is a mandatory requirement.
